HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 5, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference
with the hearing officer. The parties represented that they are at present discussing the
above-captioned matter in an attempt to arrive at settlement, including discussions with
the Department of Nuclear Safety.
The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to file the
administrative record. The petitioner had no objection. The respondent’s motion is
granted and the record is now due on or before February 14, 2008.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic
status conference on January 31, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. The status conference must be
initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its own
appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
