ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY’S
STATUS REPORT
NOW COMES the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (“Illinois EPA”), by one of
its attorneys and, pursuant to 35 the Hearing Officer’s Order of August 27, 2007, files this Status
Report.
On August 27, 2007, the Hearing Officer cancelled the scheduled hearings in the above
matter pursuant to the Illinois EPA’s Motion of August 23, 2007. The Illinois EPA’s August
Motion indicated that new modeling would be shared with the public in October. On October 4,
2007, the Illinois EPA met with the public, including the interested parties to this rulemaking to
share the new modeling. As a result of that meeting the Illinois EPA is still in discussions with
the interested parties and will have further details within three weeks of how it would like to
proceed with this docket.
The Illinois EPA respectfully submits this Status Report.
Respectfully submitted,
ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY
