HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 18, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with
the hearing officer
.
The petitioner represented that it will file a waiver of the statutory
decision deadline to and including January 24, 2008.
Respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to file the record in the
above-captioned matter. Currently the record is due to be filed on or before August 2,
2007. The petitioner had no objection. The respondent’s oral motion is granted and the
record is now due to be filed on or before August 16, 2007. The respondent also
represented that it intends to file a motion for leave to file a reduced number of copies,
including putting some of the record on disc.
It is directed and the parties agreed that written discovery must be served on or
before August 3, 2007. The discovery schedule will be revisited at the next telephonic
status conference.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic pre-
hearing conference with the hearing officer on August 20, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. The
telephonic conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless
responsible for its own appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to
discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
