HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 16, 2007, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with
the hearing officer. Respondent’s new attorney will file an appearance with the Board.
In light of respondent’s financial situation, complainant is preparing a letter to the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency requesting a reduction of the amount claimed. The
Cairo city council has not discussed this matter in an executive session.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer at 10:00 a.m. on October 15, 2007. The status conference shall be
initiated by the complainant.
