HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On May 3, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. In an attempt to streamline the hearing in this matter, the petitioner has
forwarded the expected testimony and information to the Illinois Environmental Protection
Agency (Agency) for its review. The Agency has represented that they find the expected
testimony satisfactory. The Agency will now draft and forward to the petitioner its
recommendation. A hearing date will be discussed at the next status conference.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on June 7, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discus the status of
the matter and their readiness for hearing.
