HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On April 23, 2007, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has reviewed respondent’s test
results. Respondent may haul the affected portions of the site to a landfill, or respondent may
bury the affected portions. If respondent chooses the burial option, a detailed plan must be
approved by the Agency. Respondent needs time to consider its options, and the parties plan to
meet to further discuss the situation.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
officer at 10:00 a.m. on July 23, 2007. The status conference shall be initiated by the
complainant.
