HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On March 29, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. In an attempt to streamline the hearing in this matter, the petitioner will forward
the expected testimony and information to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(Agency) for its review within the next ten days. After review, the Agency will draft and
forward a letter of recommendation letter. It is anticipated that a hearing date will be discussed at
the next status conference.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on May 3, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discus the status of
the matter and their readiness for hearing.
