HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On March 8, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with
the hearing officer. The Village of Romeoville represented that it is to have a meeting
with Waste Management within the next two weeks to make minor changes to the host
agreement, and it expects progress on the resolution of this matter by the next telephonic
status conference. The petitioners represented that they will file a 40-day waiver of the
statutory decision deadline.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer on May 10, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. The status must be initiated by the
petitioners, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the
status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-
captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a motion to voluntarily
dismiss is filed prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled
without further order.
