RE: Peoria County/Peoria Disposal Company

Dear Sir or Madam

As a lifelong resident of Peoria County, I can't tell you how concerned I

am about Peoria Disposal Company's attempt to enlarge their current facility

and obtain authority to dump more hazardous toxic waste in their landfill

. I

believe that it is clear that the majority of Peoria County residents . Their hope

is reflected in the Peoria County Board's decision to deny the Petition

. It seems

to me that the safety of the current residents of Peoria County and the future

residents are balanced against a small group of people who would benefit

financially from the landfill being expanded .

If our democracy in America is to mean anything, the wishes of the

people with respect to this decision must be honored and upheld

. It is my

sincere hope that you will respect those wishes and deny Peoria Disposal

Company's appeal

.

The future of our children is surely more important than Peoria

Disposal's desire to make more money .
