We support the Peoria County Board's decision to deny Peoria Disposal Company's

request to expand its toxic waste landfill

.

PDC's hazardous waste landfill should not be expanded, but closed permanently

.

This toxic landfill sits over Peoria's main source of water and is upwind of the city

.

The health and welfare of the community should be first and foremost in any decision by

the Illinois Pollution Control Board

. We urge you to vote NO on PDC's request for toxic

landfill expansion .
