HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On January 31, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference
with the hearing officer. The complainant stated that it was recently forwarded a letter
from the respondent representing that it has hired a consultant and that the consultant will
submit a remediation plan to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for its review.
The parties were directed to submit a proposed discovery schedule on or before February
13, 2007.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on April 12, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. The
telephonic status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is
nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the conference the parties must be
prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for
hearing.
