HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 16, 2006, a telephonic status conference was held. The respondent was
unable to appear due to a pressing matter. The complainant represented that the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency is reviewing documents submitted to it by the respondent. To
that end, respondent’s answer is now due on or before December 29, 2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on December 21, 2006, at 11:45 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation and
proposal for settlement is filed prior to the next status conference, the conference will be
cancelled without further notice.
