In regards to PCB 06-184 (Pollution Control Facility Siting Appeal) by Peoria Disposal

Company

I, Mayvis Young who reside at 1512 Holly Hedges, Peoria, 1161614, was served a

subpoena for deposition by PDC

. My testimony is to be given on October 23, 2006 at

11 :00 a.m

PDC has the right to appeal their loss of expansion by a 12 to 6 vote by the Peoria County

Board

. This verdict came after public hearings were held with witnesses presenting sworn

testimony

. All this information was recorded and made opened to anyone and all

.

In view of this I strongly urge that the decision by the Peoria County Board be upheld

.

Our nation's governmental roots were founded on the principle of the people, for the

people and by the people

. On this issue the people spoke through their signatures on

petitions, contacting their county board representative, writing to the newspaper,

speaking at county board and city council meetings, and on the day for public comments

at the hearings.

Please know there has been an immense effort and burden of responsibility taken on by a

few for the welfare and future of this area its' people, health, soil, air, and water

.
