HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On October 10, 2006, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference
with the hearing officer. The respondents represented that sampling has been completed
and reviewed and that internal discussions will take place regarding the consultants’
proposal. The respondents are hopeful that the proposal will be forwarded to the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency within the next 3 weeks for its review.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on November 16, 2006, at 9:45 a.m. The
telephonic status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is
nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the conference the parties must be
prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for
hearing.
