MOTION TO RESCHEDULE TELEPHONIC STATUS CONFERENCE
Petitioner Lyons Township High School, by and through its attorneys, Franczek
Sullivan P.C., requests that the status hearing of September 20, 2006 at 11 :30 a.m . be
rescheduled. In support of its motion, Petitioner states the following :

This matter was previously scheduled for a status hearing on September
20, 2006 at 11 :30 a.m .

Petitioner has filed an open waiver of the Hearing Officer's decision .

Petitioner's attorney represents the Illinois State Board of Education as a

On September 11, 2006, Petitioner's attorney received a federal
court
order to attend a hearing on plaintiffs' motion for limited discovery to be presented on
September 20, 2006 at 11 :00 a.m. (See attached copy of federal court order) .

Upon Petitioner attorney's receipt of the federal court order, Petitioner's
attorney was only aware of the discovery motion filed against co-defendant Chicago

Board of Education .
Petitioner's attorney received plaintiffs' motion for limited
discovery on Wednesday, September 13, 2006

Petitioner's attorney was able to resolve plaintiffs' discovery demand
;
however, the federal court would like all parties to attend since there is a dispute on
plaintiffs discovery demand on the co-defendant. Further, the federal court would like a
status on the Corey H. matter.

Petitioner's attorney has a conflict with the teleconference call at 11 :30
a.m. in this matter since he will be in federal court on the Corey H . matter
.
For all of the above reasons, Petitioner would like to request that the
teleconference call be rescheduled for another date
.
