    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On September 8, 2006, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. The witness from respondent’s technical unit has returned from a leave of
    absence, and the parties are discussing deposition dates.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 10:30 a.m. on October 17, 2006. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    petitioner.
     
    Petitioner filed an open waiver of the decision deadline in this case.
