Reason for the Withdrawal :

The Board caused publication of this first notice in response to the request of the

Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) for expedited consideration of

IEPA's June 20, 2006 regulatory proposal. On August 4, 2006, the Board granted

IEPA's July 18, 2006 motion to withdraw this rulemaking proposal . IEPA

explained that it had discussed the proposed rulemaking with the United States

Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). IEPA concluded that, at this time,

the interests of its Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) program would

be best served by a withdrawal of the rulemaking proposal

.
