HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On August 17, 2006, a telephonic status conference was held. The respondent
was unable to appear due to a scheduling conflict. The complainant represented that a
stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation) is being circulated for signatures. By
agreement, the respondent’s answer is now due to be filed on or before October 6, 2006.
The respondent is reminded to file its appearance.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on September 28, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. The
telephonic status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is
nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties
must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness
for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed prior to the next telephonic status
conference, the conference will be cancelled without further notice.
