HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 12, 2006, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer. Before complainant files an amended complaint, the parties have decided to
discuss the possibility of settlement. By agreement of the parties, complainant’s deadline for
mailing a settlement proposal to respondent is today. Respondent’s deadline for response is
August 2, 2006. If settlement appears unlikely, a deadline for complainant’s amended complaint
will be set at the next status conference.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
officer at 1:30 p.m. on August 7, 2006. The status conference shall be initiated by the
complainant. The conference previously set for July 31, 2006, is cancelled.
