    (Permit Appeal - Land)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by A.S. Moore):
On June 28, 2006, the petitioner, Village of River Forest (River Forest), filed a letter
from its Village Attorney regarding this land permit appeal. In that letter, River Forest
acknowledged receiving a Board order directing it to file an amended petition for review on or
before July 3, 2006. River Forest continued by stating that “[a]fter consultation with IEPA
representatives and our consultant, Environmental Solutions, the Village Administrator has
elected not to take further action regarding the appeal. Accordingly, we request that the matter
be removed from the Board’s docket.”
Construing this request as a motion to dismiss the appeal, the Board grants River Forest’s
motion, dismisses the petition for review, and closes the docket.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that the Board
adopted the above order on July 6, 2006, by a vote of 4-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
