    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On July 11, 2006, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. Petitioner’s attorney requested cancellation of the hearing set for July 13, 2006
    on the grounds that he just received new information from respondent that raised additional
    issues. Petitioner may want to depose an additional witness from respondent’s technical unit,
    and this employee is currently on a leave of absence. Respondent’s attorney will find out when
    she will be available. A new hearing date will be discussed at the next status conference.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 2:00 p.m. on August 10, 2006. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    petitioner.
     
    Petitioner filed an open waiver of the decision deadline in this case.
