    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On May 30, 2006, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with
    the hearing officer. The Board issued a default order against Mr. Shank, and he appeared
    at the status conference in an extremely hostile manner. Mrs. Shank intends to hire an
    attorney before the next telephone status conference to attend on respondents’ behalf. If
    no attorney is retained by that time, Mrs. Shank may participate in the status conference,
    but Mr. Shank may not participate. If Mrs. Shank allows Mr. Shank to be present, the
    hearing officer and complainant’s attorney will terminate the status conference, and
    proceed to make all decisions regarding the management of this case without consulting
    the respondents.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer at 1:30 p.m. on July 18, 2006. The status conference shall be initiated by
    the complainant.
