- Requires coal plants to reduce their mercury pollution by 90 percent by 2009

- Does not allow for"pollution trading" schemes that would let some polluters buy t

pollution controls .

We should do everything we can to protect our children and all of us from the health threats posed by mercury

pollution . I urge you to protect our kids by adopting the strongest possible limits on mercury pollution from coal
