HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On March 9, 2006, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with
the hearing officer. Complainant’s motion to set expedited hearing, filed March 6, 2006,
and respondents’ joint response, filed March 8, 2006, was addressed. The respondents
represented that it may file a motion for reconsideration regarding the Board’s February
16, 2006, order, and that setting a hearing for April 10, 2006, as the complainant has
requested, would prejudice the respondents. To that end, the complainant’s motion to
expedite the hearing was denied but the parties were informed that a hearing date will be
discussed at the next status conference.
It is noted that the respondents filed their respective motions to reconsider on
March 30, 2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on May 4, 2006, at 11;30 a.m. The telephonic
status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless
responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be
prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for
hearing.
