    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On February 10, 2006, respondent filed a second motion for extension of time until
    April 2, 2006 to answer the complaint. Complainant does not object. Respondent states that the
    request is based on the parties’ on-going settlement discussions. It appears that respondent will
    continue to request extensions of time while settlement negotiations are pending. For
    administrative economy, the hearing officer will suspend the deadline for answering the
    complaint until such time as the parties want to reinstate a deadline.
     
    The parties are reminded to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 9:00 a.m. on April 4, 2006. The status conference shall be initiated by the complainant.
