HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 17, 2005, a telephonic status conference was held. The complainant
represented that settlement negotiations continue, and that discussions regarding language in the
stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation) has been resolved. A draft stipulation is
being circulated for review. It was agreed that respondent’s answer is now due on or before
February 27, 2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on January 26, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
