HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On October 27, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that a stipulation and proposal for settlement
(stipulation) is being circulated for review and for signatures. Respondent’s motion for an
extension of time to answer, filed October 25, 2005, was also discussed. The complainant had
no objection and respondent’s motion was granted. Respondent’s answer is now due to be filed
on or before January 10, 2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on January 9, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
