HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 15, 2005, a telephonic status conference was held. Respondent did not
appear. The complainant informed the hearing officer that settlement negotiations continue, and
that discussions regarding language in the stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation)
continues. It was agreed that respondent’s answer is due on or before December 9, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on November 17, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
