HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 8, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that settlement discussions have been ongoing,
including the possibility of a supplemental environmental project. The respondent made an oral
motion for an extension of time to file its answer. The complainant had no objection. The
respondent’s motion is granted and respondent’s answer is now due to be filed on or before
November 28, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on November 3, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
