HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 8, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that discussions and revisions regarding future
compliance language that will be incorporated in the stipulation and proposal for settlement have
been ongoing. The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to file its answer or
otherwise plead. The complainant had no objection. The respondent’s motion is granted and the
respondent’s answer or other pleading is now due to be filed on or before December 19, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on October 19, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
