ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
    February 14, 1973
    UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS
    #73—27
    v.
    ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
ORDER OF THE BOARD (BY SAMUEL T. LAWTON, JR.):
On January 26, 1973, we received a letter dated January 11,
1973, in which petitioner requested the right to burn certain hazardous
chemicals, as specified in the letter. While the letter indicated
that petitioner desired to burn the chemicals before January 26,
1973, which would have made the request moot, we nevertheless
docketed the request as a variance and asked for an Agency recommen-
    dation.
On February 13, 1973, we received a further communication in-
dicating that the materials had been burned on February 1, 1973.
Accordingly, the pending variance request is dismissed as moot.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Christan MoEfett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollutio~Control Board,
certify that the above Order was adopted on the
