HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 11, 2005, the complainant filed a motion to amend complaint
instanter
and the
amended complaint. To date, the respondent has not filed a response to the motion. If a party
files no response to a motion within 14 days, the party will be deemed to have waived objection
to the granting of the motion.
See
35 Ill. Adm. Code 101.500(d). The hearing officer hereby
grants the complainant’s motion to amend the complaint.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on September 15, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
