HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On March 31, 2005, a telephonic status conference was held. Respondent did not appear.
The complainant informed the hearing officer that settlement negotiations continue. The
complainant also represented that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is presently
reviewing two supplemental environmental projects and calculating a penalty demand. It was
agreed that respondent’s answer due date will be discussed at the next status conference.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on May 18, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
