RE:
Illinois Pollution Control Board #R04-22/23
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to thank the illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB) for the April 20, 2005 letter
stating that an additional hearing would be scheduled in Carbondale, Marion or Mt. Vernon. I
feel that it will be a great benefit to both the IPCB and the citizens of southern Illinois to allow
an additional opportunity for questions and answers to some of the rule changes that require
clarification.
Based on plans that have already been made and a very busy time near the end of the school
year, I would like to request that the additional hearing be held sometime in later part ofJuly.
Thank you for your time in this matter.

RE:
Illinois Pollution Control Board #R04-22/23
To Whom It May Concern,
In response to the Hearing Officer Order dated April 20, 2005, which stated that an additional
hearing is warranted, I would first like to thank the Board for its recognition of my request for an
additional hearing and I am confident that this hearing will serve to provide additional clarity on
the issues at hand.
I would also like to thank the board for allowing this additional hearing to be held in Southern
Illinois. While there has been no procedural action or other stipulation that would have prevented
me from attending the previous hearings, the proximity to my home has made it impractical for
me to attend in the past. Barring any unforeseen circumstances and my availability, I look
forward to attending this additional hearing.
Concerning pre-filed questions, the specific questions that I would like to be addressed in this
hearing have been encompassed within the questions pre-field on behalf of the company that I
work for, United Science Industries, Inc.
Concerning availability for hearings, the dates that I am currently unavailable for the hearing in
June are 6/2, 6/3, 6/22, 6/23 and 6/24. Additionally, in July, I am currently unavailable for the
hearing on 7/4,
7/5
and 7/6.
Your time and consideration is greatly appreciated in this matter.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to commend the Illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB) for their
efforts put forth to listen to the concerns citizens of the State of Illinois had concerning
the proposed 35 Ill. Adm. Code 734 regulations. The decision to allow an additional
hearing creates a positive atmosphere between the governing body and the citizens in that
adequate representation is made among the entire state. I want to personally thank each
and everyone involved for allowing me the opportunity to be heard. The later part ofJuly
would be the most sufficient time in order for me to attend the additional hearing. Again
I want to thank everyone involved for allowing me the opportunity to be heard.
