To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to request additional hearings prior to the final approval of the Pollution Control

Board proposed amendments to Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) Leaking

Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Regulations Part 732 and Part 734. Additionally I would

like to request that this additional hearing be held in the southern part of the state. As you are

aware, hearings thus far have been held in the Springfield and Chicago area; this makes

it

difficult for those of us in the southern region to attend and/or participate.

I have been working in the environmental regulatory industry for several years and I am very

concerned about the upcoming changes proposed for the regulations. Specifically, I do not

believe that the testimonies, hearings, or the opinion offered by the board have adequately

addressed the questions and concerns raised by this proposed rule. I would like the opportunity

to express these questions and concerns before this rulemaking process proceeds to the next

step.
