    :~:::oncern:
    This letter is in regards to the published First Opinions from the Pollution Control Board
    on the proposed amendments to Part 732 and Part 734 Regulations in the Illinois
    Register. I, a concerned citizen of the Southern Illinois region would like to request
    additional hearings by the Pollution Control Board on these proposed amendments. I
    have read some of these amendments and have grave concerns that the citizen that has to
    deal with the regulation and the consultants are not being clearly heard. I believe it is in
    the best interest ofthe IPCB to review additional testimonies from professionals in order
    to establish regulations that pertain to the citizens throughout the State of Illinois.
    In the past all of the IPCB hearings have been held in Northern Illinois, (everything is
    held in Northern Illinois), I would like to see additional hearings held in Southern Illinois
    (i.e. Mt. Vernon) of one would look at the citizens affected by these regulations a
    LARGE number are in the southern half of Illinois. This is so that not only are the
    northern Illinois citizens able to be heard, but ALL ofillinois should be given chance to
    have a voice. They should also be given a chance to be heard in the decision making
    process on the proposed amendments to Part 732 and Part 734.
    Thank you for your time and consideration,
    h4~~
