HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On January 20, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that they are close to agreement on the draft stipulation
and proposal for settlement (stipulation). The parties remain, however, discussing a related issue
that has surfaced but are optimistic that it will be resolved prior to the next status conference.
The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to file its answer. The complainant
had no objection. Respondent’s motion is granted. Respondent’s answer is now due on or
before May 12, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on April 28, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
