HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 4, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that they appear to have reached a settlement in this
matter. The complainant represented that it will draft a stipulation and proposal for settlement
(stipulation) for review. The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to answer
the complaint. Complainant had no objection. Respondent’s motion is granted. Respondent’s
answer is now due on or before February 7, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on January 6, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
