HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 30, 2004, complainant participated in a telephone status conference with
the hearing officer. Respondent did not appear. It appears that respondent may have an attorney
because someone by the name of Rich Black filed an answer on respondent’s behalf.
Respondent is advised that his attorney will not be receiving a copy of this notice because he has
not filed an appearance with the Board. Therefore, if respondent wants his attorney to represent
him at the next telephone status conference, he must give this notice to his attorney, and tell his
attorney to file his appearance with the Board as soon as possible. Furthermore, the Board and
the complainant need telephone numbers where respondent and/or his attorney may be reached.
Respondent or his attorney is directed to contact complainant’s attorney, Phillip McQuillan, at
217/782-9031 before the next telephone status conference.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
officer at 11:30 a.m. on November 8, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the
complainant. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
