HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 29, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that it appears that a settlement has been accomplished
on the key issues. The complainant represented that it is reviewing the final comments of the
respondent regarding the stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation). The parties made
a joint motion for an extension of time to file respondent’s answer. The motion is granted.
Respondent’s answer is now due on or before December 23, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on December 9, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
