HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 30, 2004, a telephonic status conference was held. Complainant was
unable to appear due to a conflict. The respondents represented that comments to the stipulation
and proposal for settlement (stipulation) have been exchanged and that the respondents are
reviewing the most recent of those comments. To that end, respondents represented that the
complainant has no objection to an extension of time to file their answer. Respondents’ answer
is now due to be filed on or before January 19, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on December 9, 2004, at 10:45 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
