    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On September 24, 2004, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. The parties will discuss the possibility of settlement, or at least try to narrow
    issues for hearing. Petitioner agreed to file a 60-day or 90-day decision deadline waiver within
    the next seven days. On September 20, 2004, respondent filed a motion to extend time to file the
    administrative record until it appears that a hearing will be necessary. Petitioner does not object
    to this motion. Accordingly, the motion is granted.
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 1:30 p.m. on November 18, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    petitioners. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter.
     
    The decision deadline for this case is December 16, 2004.
