HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 16, 2004, the parties informed the hearing officer that they have agreed on
the penalty and that the parties are discussing the final terms of the stipulation and proposal for
settlement. Respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to answer or otherwise
plead. Complainant has no objection. Respondent’s motion is granted. Respondent’s answer or
other pleading is now due on or before December 10, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference call with the hearing officer on November 23, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. The status
conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
