    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
    On September 8, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
    hearing officer. The parties represented that the respondent is to forward financial documents to
    the complainant in an attempt to reduce the penalty demand. The respondent made an oral
    motion for an extension of time to file its answer. The complainant objected. The motion is
    nevertheless granted and the respondent’s answer is now due on or before October 22, 2004. No
    further extensions will be entertained.
    The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
    conference with the hearing officer on November 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. The telephonic status
    conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
    own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
    the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
