    (90-Day Extension)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C.A. Manning):
On July 14, 1998, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) and Ted
Pilson (petitioner) filed a joint notice of extension of the 35-day period to appeal a decision of
the Agency. The Board hereby grants petitioner an extension of the time period for filing a
permit appeal in the matter until September 13, 1998, pursuant to Section 40(a)(1) of the
Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/40(a)(1) (1996)). Because the Board has timely
received a joint notice of extension, the Board extends the appeal period to the aforementioned
date. The Board will dismiss this matter and close the docket if petitioner fails to file an
appeal on or before that date.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 23rd day of July 1998 by a vote of 6-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
