Please consider this letter an update on the status ofthis matter.
Presently pending are cross-
motions for summaryjudgment and these are fullybriefed.
The Village ofSouth Elgin and WMI have
agreed,however, to request a 90 day stay on any decisionby the Board.
WMI will be seeking approval
of a Transfer Station located in the City ofElgin and, should that application be approved, the parties
have agreed that it would make this matter moot.
