Dear Mr.
Halloran,
I am responding to your recent phone call regarding a
phone
conference on Febeuary
I
0,2003.
As you know
I
left a phone
message for you advising you that I had been in the hospital and did not get home to receiveyour message until Februaiy 8,
2003, and February 10, 2003
was already spoken for for
me
with medical treatment appointments I
had to
honor.
I also left
a message that
I
would
write you
last week
advising you of days I ‘vsvuld be available for a :3-way telephonic
cnference.
This
Is
the
first
chance I have hadto correspond with you.
On February 12, 2003 I had
to
return to the hospital
to receive 1V medications,
and transfusions and was released yesterday.
As you know frcsn prior correspondence, I have
been quite ill.
It has been very difficult for me to do much right now.
I
am not
staying at my home right
nowdueto requiring assistanceand having physical limitations.
I can provide
you
with
days
I ~ld
hope
to
be available to discussthis noise complaint, and
I
understand that you and the Board need updates and
needto movethe casealong.
Perhaps
it
would be
better to shelve this case for
the
next
4-5
months,
as I am havingto travel
some distance out
of
town for
medical care and
hospitalizations.
I am
uncomfhrtable
committing
to dates fi~
calls
to you
and possibly not able to follow through due to health care
comm
nts-thatariseon my behalf
UnlessMr. OConnorand his client have fixed
the
problem ofnoise pollution coming from
the
roof of
the school,
we will
need to keep this case open
to try
andresolve
the matter.
It
is my hope you andBoard will be understanding
of
the
circumstances.
People
get sick, Mr.
J-Iallcran.
Ifthe school
had
resolved
the
noise
problem years
ago as
I
requested,
would not need
to be
spending
my personal
unpaidtime
to put
this
letter together, finding someoae
to type it for
me, and even havingto deal
with
this issue when
I
should be
focusing on health matters currently before
me.
Please advise atyour convenienceon
whether you wish
to try
and set adate for aphone conference, with the understanding
that Imay need
to
cancel at
late
notice due
to
health care matters,
or
if
we should delaythe matter for several
months until
my
healthcare improvesand we can move on this casehopefully uninterrupted,
If
Respondenthas not corrected
the
noise
problem as
ofthis date.
Thank yo~
Sincerely,
Rebecca
