HEARING OFFICER ORDER

On July 14, 2004, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the

hearing officer. Respondent’s attorney was waiting to hear from its technical unit about a letter

to petitioner that may resolve this appeal. To date, respondent has not contacted the hearing

officer, so it is assumed that respondent’s attorney has no further information at this time.

The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing

officer at 11:30 a.m. on August 12, 2004. The parties may contact the hearing officer at an

earlier date if they prefer. The telephone status conference will be initiated by the petitioner.

Petitioner has filed an open waiver of the statutory decision deadline in this matter.
