HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 8, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer. The parties informed the hearing officer that they are close to settling this matter and the
parties are reviewing a stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation). The respondent
made an oral motion for an extension of time to file its answer. Complainant had no objection.
Respondent’s motion is granted. Respondent’s answer is now due to be filed on or before
October 8, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on September 9, 2004, at 11:15 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
