HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 8, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer. The complainant represented that it has forwarded a draft stipulation and proposal for
settlement to the respondent for review. Respondents represented that in-house counsel is
reviewing the stipulation. Respondents’ oral motion for an extension of time to file their answer
is granted and is now due to be filed on or before October 1, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on September 9, 2004, 9:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
